Merdeka Block Remodelling Announcement
I am pleased to inform you that we are embarking on renovation of our guest rooms at Merdeka Block (Merdeka Deluxe rooms, 3rd to 9th floor) commencing February 26, 2013; and works will be in progress until October 2013. To minimize guest impact, the hotel will renovate one (01) floor at a time with 2 floors below as buffer zone; hence, rooms at these floors will be taken out of the inventory whilst rooms at other floors remain open. Any remodeling related noise level will be kept to a minimum and only restricted to the hours between 10.30 am to 5.30pm on weekdays and 11.30am to 5.30pm on weekends and public holidays. The work in progress will not affect the Tower Block, Public area, Restaurants and Meeting rooms; which are operationally open.
