The Sarang Galloway Vacation Home is situated in Bukit Bintang, having been converted from a double-storey pre-war house built in the 1920's during colonial days. A stark contrast to the surrounding modern landscape, the Sarang Galloway provides a warm cultural retreat that takes you back through time when Kuala Lumpur was still a traditional and cultural enclave, bereft of modernity. Today, the house has been renovated to provide a cosy atmosphere while retaining its historical heritage.
The name "Sarang" comes from the Malay word for"Nest" while "Galloway" was the name of the British person that the home was named after. Due to its strategic location, many major shopping malls, hawker stalls and entertainment areas of Bukit Bintang are within walking distance. Meanwhile, the Hang Tuah Monorail station is only 4 minutes away on foot, which bring you around the city with ease through the elevated train service.
While it might sound like a busy neighbourhood, the home is actually situated off the main road in a relatively quiet area. The nearby police headquarters provides an additional sense of security. Large groups of friends or families will appreciate having the whole house to themselves. After a busy day of shopping or sightseeing, the home offers a warm and comfortable retreat to relax and unwind.
